How Our Story Began
Swastik Agencies and the trading name Wedoexport.in, Wedoimport.com, ImportfromChina.com were founded by Mr Maulik Shah who completed his studies successfully and qualified with a Master in Business Administration (MBA in Internation Business) at the University of East London, United Kingdom in 2007.
With a Seed of thought, His Father Mr Jagdeep Shah along with his friends started the Business Journey in 2006 with very little information on Import and Export Trade.
Despite starting with minimal details or resources, the business has managed to carve its path and establish a strong foothold in the industry. The journey from that humble beginning to where the company stands today is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the ability to adapt to changing times. Throughout these years, the company has likely encountered numerous challenges, milestones, and successes.
In 2006 they started their Import journey by importing and reselling the same in wholesale markets.
In 2008 he returned to India after working in London gaining insight on Import and Export Trade.
The experience he has acquired in the United Kingdom is enhanced by the experience and knowledge from the local businesses and the local market, as well as from the problems that Indian businesses face.
In 2008 he focused his activities on specialized consulting services in India and abroad by founding Wedoimport.com.
In 2010 he founded another brand Wedoexport.in, Impexsouring.com, importingfromchina.com
Parallel to that he founded the commercial business Swastik Agencies, which specializes in the distribution of FMCG products.
In the beginning, he focuses on “Direct” retail sales, and at a later stage, he develops the business into a complete system of Auto Pilot.
At the same time, Mr. MaulikShah studied the European Markets extensively great care. More specifically, he visited countries such as Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain and the United Kingdom.
He also studied extensively the Middle East markets and visited the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, and Lebanon.
Furthermore, he studied and visited markets in Asia, such as Bank Gong & Chiang-Mai – Thailand, Honk Gong, Guangzhou, Sien Zien, Shanghai, Ningbo City, Fuyang City, Wuxi City & Yiwu – China.
Our First ever Import
The debut of our first import container in 2006 was indeed a challenging experience for us at Wedoexport.com. It taught us invaluable lessons, highlighting the complexities and risks associated with international trade.
